Orders placed in December will dispatch from our Sydney office on the next business day.

Each Twelve Gins of Christmas box is handmade by our team based in Sydney.

Preorders

Pre-orders and earlybird sale orders placed in August through October are leaving our warehouse now. Boxes are being dispatched in the order they were purchased. However, if you would like to try and receive your box by a particular date, please give us a shout at hello@boxbar.com.au. 

All other gift boxes will be delivered in plenty of time for Christmas.

Our boxes are delivered by a variety of carriers depending your location. Australia Post is a premium carrier and if you would like to ensure your box is sent via Australia Post, we recommend selecting Premium Express shipping during checkout.

Once your box dispatches, you'll receive a email from us with tracking details.

The Twelve Gins of Christmas box is intended to align with the Twelve Days of Christmas which begin on Christmas day - your true love starts giving you gives on Christmas day and continues until 5 January. That said - we reckon the gins taste incredible regardless of what day you drink them - so we won't insist you wait! 

All boxes will arrive in time for Christmas.

Each of the Twelve Gins of Christmas measure a "dram" or 50mL. Enough to mix two drinks or a really big one just for you! There is approximately 24 standard drinks in total.

Everything your need is in your box including a paired mixer and garnishes for each gin. The mixers range from 100-250mL each. 

All you need to have is glasses and ice. We tried to include the ice in the box once a while back and it didn't go so well in the post :-( 

Absolutely! We're supporting Australian distilleries this year and each distillery has given us a link you can follow to purchase a discounted or special offer from their website directly.

Absolutely! With thousands of gins available in Australia today, we've selected 12 new ones that are unique for the Twelve Gins of Christmas 2025 - you won't find a repeat from last year or from our gin subscription this year.

For the first time, the Twelve Gins of Christmas will have two shipping options. 

Premium Shipping
By selecting premium shipping at checkout, you will ensure your box is delivered by Australia Post (or hand delivered by one of our team within Sydney) and will be insured for the retail price of your box. This means if your box is damaged or missing and we have run out of Twelve Gins of Christmas, you will be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the situation. 

Standard Shipping (free!)
As in previous years, standard shipping is included with your Twelve Gins of Christmas purchase. We use a variety of carriers to deliver your box depending on your area. Standard Shipping provides insurance for the replacement value of your box. This type of insurance provides a partial or full replacement (depending on the damage) or credit for an alternative product.

If you live in an area where Express Post is required (i.e. Australian external territories), please select Premium Shipping and reach out to our team at hello@boxbar.com.au.

Returns and resends
Please be careful when selecting your delivery address. If the box is returned to us or needs redirecting it will incur a carrier fee of $30 inc GST for redelivery.
